It contains pictures of politicians, artists, entrepreneurs, people engaged in social projects, priests, principals etc. in the district of Gross-Gerau in the Rhine-Main region. I tried to do the people justice with the pictures, just the way I got to know the person in the first way, but I also tried to avoid the “classical” portrait. The pictures had been published in colour, but they were meant to be in black and white right from the beginning, and most of them have been shot in black and white too.
