The unremarkable village of Lealui on the Zambesi Floodplains is home of the Litunga, the Lozi king, and it´s set only few kilometers west of Mongu, which is the official capital of Barotseland, the western province of Zambia. On the right side of the canal lies the black and white striped boat, which is used by the Litunga and his men to move to the higher set raintime palace when raintime takes place. That ceremony is called Kuomboka and is the greatest and most important ceremony in whole southern africa.
